I don't know why everyone is giving such poor reviews. When you go to a dive, you should expect a dive. For a dive, this place was "A-OK" as the three stars suggests. We were in the area and looking specifically for garlic crabs, which we found here and were delicious. They came in a big bucket, perfectly done, and loaded full of butter, garlic, and herb seasoning. By the end of the garlic crab smashfest, we were pretty much coated in butter, garlic, and crab chunks - this is not a fancy place! I wouldn't go to a stinky hole in the wall crab place and expect to get grade-A service and perfectly cooked filet mignon. We came in looking for dive-bar crab buckets and got exactly what we were looking for. The next time we are in Daytona and hungering for bucket-o-crabs, we're coming back here.

The seafood was cooked perfectly. It would have been a wonderful meal if the service wasn't the worst I've ever experienced in my life, and i was a server in my previous life. they had the best and i really mean the best garlic blue crabs we have ever eaten. highly recommend just be sure you get a good server.

This place is horrible. Went there with 12 people and they got not one dish right!!! The Cod was served to two people and was rotten. No joke they served rotten fish!!! The dish I had was the Fra Diablo and I got sick from it... I had the runns the whole next day. The bartender spilled a drink on one of our guest head, they screwed up the bill and got absolutely nothing right. The poor sever did her best but was given no chance by the owner the kitchen or the bar. Stay far away if you cherish your life. Should have called health department on this dive!!!

Yes, I've experienced better. Although the lobster-crab roll presented sushi style as a wrap was very tasty, the Key West conch fritters were over-cooked, heavy and not particularly well-seasoned. My friend had the mussels appetizer and noted that the mussels had lost their "plumpness" and could have been fresher. The service was good; our server brought us generous drinks from the bar and checked on us regularly, but Paula who held the door as we left this evening was complaining that two other restaurants that sit on the waterfront to their west got all the business because of their location. She felt Oyster Bay's food was better than their competitors, but Oyster Bay was overlooked because it lacked a waterfront location. I don't care for either competitor, but I don't think location is what brings in their customers. Oyster Bay needs to step up their game if they want to succeed.

We went to the Oyster Bay Crab House hoping to have a great seafood dinner, for starters, the chedder bisquits were stale, dry, and cold. I ordered a salad with my meal, asked for balsamic dressing, the waitress brings out blue cheese, I know...not a biggie but when I ordered fried scallops they brought me broiled scallops. I asked the waitress to please have them bring fried scallops she apologized and took them back to the kitchen. She brought me out the fried "scallops" in no time, hmmmm..thought it took longer than that to prepare seafood? Okay, so now I have what looks like large, fried sea scallops. I noticed immediately that the so-called scallops were way too rubbery in consistancy and had no taste what so ever!! I only ate two because I just knew that what I was eating was not scallops but more than likely shark or stingray meat.( this is not uncommon practice for some lower-end restaraunts). I immediately sent the plate back and asked the waitress to deduct my meal from the ticket, which she did. Do NOT eat at this place, very poor quality food and very suspicious of their"scallops"!!

Worst food ever! Tea was good.... We ordered calamari, it was ok. Raw clams were never rinsed and full of shells, not enjoyable . My husband and I both ordered stuffed shrimp, crab stuffing was wet and mushy(very odd tasting ). Husband got rock hard dirty rice , and my parsely potatoes were ok. Waitress was terrible, spilled ice all over the table and never cleaned it up (luckily she spared the clams). She asked us if we wanted more tea before we had even got our appetizer, duh ! After she asked how our meal was, she came back and she told us to let her know if we wanted to speak to her manager. We told her that we felt the manager should want to talk to us. Obviously, they didn't . Oh, and we never got our salads . Forced to put 1 star.. deserves No stars!!! I am assuming the reviews prior came from employees or owners. Paid the $62.00 bill and left, disappointed and going for a burger at five guys!
